Introduction:
------------
This distribution contains the XMedCon Gtk+2 Win32 ported version
released under the GNU General Public License. See the file COPYING.

Installation:
------------
Just run 'setup.exe' and follow the installation wizard.

This nifty installer was created with a tool called "Inno Setup" which can be
found at "http://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.htm" for free (source available).

Important remarks:
-----------------

- If you prefer to run the programs from the command line, it is better
  to add the "bin" directory of the installation in your PATH variable.

- Only pentium and truecolor displays (at least 16bit) are supported. 

- The distribution includes libraries from the Gtk+2 Win32 port written
  by Tor Lillqvist. More info can be found at "http://www.gimp.org/win32/".

How to run:
----------

From the command line: (depending on where you installed XMedCon)

	"cd c:\program files\xmedcon\bin"
	"xmedcon" or "medcon"

From the Start button:

	see Start||Programs||XMedCon


That should be it, no?
