Usage

The Render option from the Menu Window enables you to select the dithering and interpolation type applied on the displayed images.

Dialog

Dither Type   (fastest + least quality => slowest + best quality)
None
Radiobutton to use no dithering at all.
Normal (8  bpp and below)
Radiobutton to use dithering for  8 bits per pixel and below.
Max    (16 bpp and below)
Radiobutton to use dithering for 16 bits per pixel and below.
Interpolation Type   (fastest + least quality => slowest + best quality)
Nearest neighbour sampling
Radiobutton to use dithering on the images but do it better
Tiles as mix nearest and bilinear
Radiobutton to use tiles
Bilinear interpolation
Radiobutton to use bilinear interpolation.
Hyperbolic-filter
Radiobutton to use hyperbolic-filter.
Apply
Button to apply  the selection. Images will be redisplayed!
Cancel]
Button to cancel the selection.
Notes:
Follow the link for a little more background info on gdk-pixbuf's interpolation types.
The palette is selected in the [Colors] options...
This dialog can also be displayed by pressing on the Render button in the Viewer Window.
The combination None/Nearest gives the fastest display.
